Sorry for going off topic on about YT and stuff. I didn't expect so many replies but I am curious about Rumble so I am going to start a new thread in Chat forum
I haven't checked these out, yet, so hopefully they'll work.

Amazon Quality Delivery

Amazon Quality Delivery #2

Amazon Quality Delivery #3

Sorry i didn't think it would go offtopic that much when I made a posted about YT .. I am starting a new thread in general chat since I am curious about Rumble and what your experience is with it.

Sorry this happened to you. It's a PITA to have to replace the fencing, even if it's not difficult. I can sort of see the driver not realizing they crushed the wire fencing, but it takes a lot of gall in my opinion to back out over your grass like that, when they should just back down the driveway.

I wish you every success with the complaint. My bet is they offer you a free month extension to Prime. :banghead:

Yeah its not expensive. It just sticks in the ground. It was only there as a deterrent so that people wouldn't hit her flowers that are there. Not even sure what they are, but they are big and nice looking for 3 seasons.

Its more of the principle as you said. We don't drive on that part of the ground because its usually wet, and we are on farmland soil, its like a marshmallow. He really did get lucky. I had to pull someone out of that spot the first year we lived there.

I think 50% of all drivers have not much concern and are careless when it comes to other peoples property or surroundings. well, maybe 40%..or maybe 60%
People throwing s*it of of the window and landing on your lawn, pulling over and then driving in your swale, leaving a sunken trail behind, using your drive as a turn around, and crushing a sprinkler head as a result, on and on.
Probably the same people who cruise thru stop signs, kinda cutting you off, as your driving down the road, then going much slower than the speed limit right in front of you.
Those people work for delivery services too, and act the same. if you ask why >:idk: I would put down pointed rebar spikes down, but I would fear my wife would drive over them.

www.vimeo.com is a viable alternative to YT. I also despise YT ever since google took over.
Just what I was going to suggest. Vimeo is better quality as it's really aimed at being a site for film producers to showcase their work. That said, they don't seem to mind a little off topic media as long as it's not left or permamently or made too prominent. I tend not to tag my videos to stop them coming up in searches too easily and take them down when they've served their purpose.

Maybe you want a decorative triangular fence around like this:

I probably should point out this may give rise to legal liability from other perspectives eg. if someone fell onto it.

Rumble is picking up steam, Patreon, and others are breaking into the Y.T. world. Eventually Y.T. will die.. Google didn't build it, free thinking Americans did. Same with Parler, Twitter is going down also.

A rep from Amazon contacted me. They had me fill out an online damage claim form, submit pictures, and list the estimated damage. I found everything that was damaged on Amazon actually. I added it to my cart and sent them the screenshot. We shall see.
Better move your Benz, they will probably hit it delivering your new order.

Its funny, that car got hit by a delivery a couple years ago which prompted me to get cameras in the first place. Granted they were crap ADT cameras which I did not have for long. I found this site and got real cameras.

It was a flatbed truck that dropped a bunch of logs that we process for firewood. One took a bad bounce, rolled, and damaged the bumper, all in front of my wife who was there for the delivery. The company later said there was no proof they did it.

I actually feel sorry for most drivers. They work their asses off to get all the packages delivered and are working weekends to meet all of our demands yet most of people bitch. I generally will tip mine this time of year if I catch them when I’m home.

I understand that they're being pressed pretty hard, used to do deliveries myself, but that is no excuse for being careless and destroying property. They know what they were being hired to do so this isn't out of their "scope" of work at all. The thing that boggles my mind is that they can't drive a van in reverse to save their lives. You would think basic driving skills, both forward and reverse being demonstrated prior to hiring, are part of the requirements to be hired in the first place.

LOL, that reminds me of the time 40 years ago I had just started working as a lineman for ATT.
We had to get a commercial license and part of that was backing a line truck with a fully loaded trailer of poles all the way around a strip center.

I passed but it was a stressful morning:nervous:
