sorry to say this but those mics are bad.

I have to say that many members here have used the MicroSeven mics very successfully. Do a search for MicroSeven here in IPCT.

I have 3 of these with Dahua cameras and they work pretty good. Recommend. It would be great if someone added the ETS Sound Surveillance one recommended above for comparison. Thinking I may give it a try .

iv tested many of those cheaper ones in the pass projects and its hit and miss, some of them have really bad quality resisters and chips causing sound distortion and feedback.

As for the microphones from etsnm, this is all I use for professional installs, you can adjust volume range from Line level (0db) or Microphone level (-30db) and fine tune it according your ambient surrounding. check them out, its a little pricy but its worth the money, all made in america.
