Tried this too - same result. What happens when you hit save and then refresh?
Many of us will hit save 3 times and then refresh to ensure it took.
Or maybe you got a wonky firmware update and need to factory reset it 3 times.
Sounds crazy, but many of us have found 3 times as the magic number if something goes wonky.
Finally snipped it.Device Type IPC-T2431T-AS-2.8mm

If your IPC-T2431T-AS can support later firmware than mine can then might my camera be an earlier hardware version? What firmware version does the cam have? Mine is below. Bost a screen shot of the Video tab like I did in post #16.

That function does not work, it never has.A manual check in the camera for a firmware update says 'it is the latest version'.
I have IE11.You have a very old Operating system, hence you have a very old version of Internet Explorer on that system. Probably too old to work correctly with the cameras.
And it's final release was 9 years ago, as I said, ancient.I have IE11.

I put a Windows 10 system on the LAN with IE v21H1, made the recommended internet options security sites and ActiveX all enabled. And it's final release was 9 years ago, as I said, ancient.
Just tried that, typing it in. No change. Are you selecting 6144 from the dropdown or typing it in?
Whichever way you tried, try it the other way.
