Blue Iris Trial?

What firmware version does the cam have? Mine is below. Bost a screen shot of the Video tab like I did in post #16.

I'm setting and saving exactly as in the samplenhold screenshot above.

I found an article on Dahua cameras requiring ActiveX in IE11 so I double checked all related settings in IE11.
Still same problem.

What happens when you hit save and then refresh?

Many of us will hit save 3 times and then refresh to ensure it took.

Or maybe you got a wonky firmware update and need to factory reset it 3 times.

Sounds crazy, but many of us have found 3 times as the magic number if something goes wonky.

As I stated in the post #21 - post the screen shot and what firmware.

Tried this too - same result.

If the bitrate is too low, the quality of the camera suffers. If the bitrate is too high, then unnecessary disk space is used.

If your field of view results in an image that you find acceptable at that bitrate, then no big deal.

If your IPC-T2431T-AS can support later firmware than mine can then might my camera be an earlier hardware version?
Your firmware is newer than mine.

Maybe Andy ( @EMPIRETECANDY ) can link to the latest firmware.

You still have not posted a screen shot of the video tab as requested twice.

Where did you buy this camera from?

Is the bite rate changing even if you do not power the cam on and off?

Are you selecting 6144 from the dropdown or typing it in?

Whichever way you tried, try it the other way.
