The video is a little long as I hadn't had time to edit it. Check out clouds rolling at 5:40 and the shit hits the fan at 9:30. I had little damage but trees down and power lines in town. Some reports of crops destroyed in area as well. I watched the white truck pull up by my Blue Spruce to get out of hail....but he figured out that wasn't such a good idea and bailed ! My power was off and on but my cams are all on UPS.

I'm ok
Slick video!
Curious minds want to know.....
Is the frame rate 2 FPS?
And do you have the camera on a tower or how is it above the roof line?
I have a cheep 4k camera at 40' on a tower, but it gets taken out with lightning about every other year.

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave

Awesome footage.

That wind vane pointed the opposite direction of the flag blowing the whole time, and barely moved.

I thought about putting an expensive PTZ camera on the peak of my house just to play with, but I'm not sure it would have much practical use.

The frame rate of cam and export settings are below. I am having trouble exporting this clip out of BI. The original BVR file is smooth and not jerky, but so far I can not export it to have that same quality ....seems to step through frames ?? I also posted a picture of the camera's mount. Time to clean up.

Update: I did a new export from BI using default settings except I did not include the overlays and went 100% on quality....video was very smooth just like the bvr file BUT, was huge in size for just a 8.5 minute clip.

Frame rate of 1 FPS, and that's plenty good to watch the weather.
I haven't exported many long files, usually I only need 1-5 min to show what someone did or went, and have not had any problems with that.

Wonder if you can reduce the quality % and make a smaller file?
Maybe drop full color? Or use sub stream? Hard to get quality and small size.
