Hi Folks! I have a Lorex N843A82 8 channel NVR. I have six cameras mounted but they all have the wide angle lens and large, 1/2.7, CMOS sensor so they aren’t much good at night. I’m thinking of replacing a couple of them with the above mentioned Loryta (Dahua). I don’t need to read license plates just be able to see faces at about 40 - 50 ft.

Anyway, will this cam work with my NVR? And yeah please spare me the “you shoulda gotten a computer and run with Blue Iris” comments. I don’t disagree, but it is what it is.

Thanks!

Lorex is Dahua OEM as is the Loryta. My neighbor has been upgrading his crappy Lorex cameras on his Lorex NVR with Empiretech cameras and they come in just fine.
