Hello, I am an installer, we have a Dahua device that does not update, model XVR5216AN-4KL-I2
We tried several firmwares but none of them worked, neither via USB nor via the web
I will send you the picture of the firmware on the device.
Can anyone help?

The online check for updates only work about a 1/4th of the time across the board on all models. Did you try tech support?

Good question, we have 12 cameras that are not compatible with this XVR.
Without update, the codec h265 does not work properly and the quality of the cameras is bad

I’ve never emailed them. If you’re an installer they pick up the phone pretty quickly.

Unfortunately, I am in a country where Dahua does not provide service because of the embargo, is there anyone to call them?

Does it tell you anything or just reboot? It’s strange most of the people here post model numbers that don’t coincide with the US model numbers. Maybe see if you can figure out which one is the us equivalent and download that firmware from the wiki.

They normally not talk a lot to the end users, normally ask your distributor for service would be easier and fast.
