As stated, looking for recommendations for a siren or siren light combo that I can trigger via the alarm outputs on a camera or on my NVR. I have a relay one the NVR but am using it for other purposes so I need this to work off the non relayed outputs I have. Any recommendations for something good but not bank breaking?

I'd end up needing a bunch, and they would need to be quite the loud siren as they would be covering outdoor spaces with distances reaching 1000' feet. Though after dark in a quiet area any siren will surely get attention. I have a few for testing but they all would need a relay to work and that will not work for my needs. Thanks all!

I have that one from Nelly's. Only thing though, it's not super loud and the flash doesn't really impress visually even at night. They are more for a localized siren, not really for distance. But in the dead of night, a flashing siren making any noise at all can be effective enough. For serious sound throw, you'd need a horn type. Buy one of the nelly's sirens and see how you like it first, is what I'd say. I have one attached to my dvr alarm out at home, and one on an nvr at a business. If you're familiar with the scream of the wall module of a consumer home security system, that how loud the siren is.

How about use a simple wireless alert system?
For example: Diamond
It includes one siren hub, one wireless PIR motion sensor, one wireless D/W sensor, as well as two remote keyfobs. It only costs you US$30

Product information: Simple Light/Sound Alarm System - Diamond

That wouldn't work. That device doesn't appear to have any inputs. It is using either the motion detector/door contact, or the fob to trigger the siren. The poster is requesting to control the siren from the alarm output on the DVR/NVR, which would require the siren to have a wet relay input. Then the poster could connect the relay output from the NVR into a 12V power supply and connect that to the siren.

As a note I solved my issue with two separate products. I ended up using this siren,

This is VERY loud and works extremely well. This is just a standard siren and light that I then had to find a device to control the power. I ended up with these:

I purchased these at buy.com as they actually had them in stock! I waited from three other sellers and never actually got them to ship to me, smarthome.com I was on backorder for over two months before giving up. I'll spend $15 more to actually get the product any day lol. The device is a Xantech AC1, apparently these are used by people in the audio industry to power on a stack of equipment yet only having to hit one power switch. Each monitors the next so they daisy chain the power up. Whatever, it also works for my uses!

This outlet stays off until it receives voltage to the input you see there on the right side of the device. I connect it to my TTL alarm outputs on the DVRs I have, or the Exacq IO modules I use and they work perfectly. Then the siren is just plugged into the power outlet as normal, no special wiring at all. Easy enough that anyone I need to can wire them up and it does exactly what I wanted for under $200 no matter what the day to day pricing jumps are. Took some searching to find the right stuff but glad I have it now!

I'll second this siren and strobe. I have used these in the past.https://www.amazon.com/Altronix-6062-Digital-Timer/dp/B0006TZEDS/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1506611069&sr=1-1-fkmr1&keywords=altronics+6062
