Hello,

We have some troubles finding camera's connected direct with the NVR.
model: DHI-NVR4432-16P-4KS2

We do some changes in our network.

In the past all Camera's were attached on a general POE switch, the connection was made via the IP adres.
The camera's received there IP adress from a DHCP reservation ( independent DHCP server)

Now we are changing some things

Some Camera's are stay connected with a general network switch.
Some Camera's are connected on the back op the NVR.

With these changes there are comming some troubles...
We cannot find these Camera's that are directly connected to the NVR.

Also there are no flickering lights on the back of the NVR...
Is it possible that the ports on the back of the nvr are disabled?

Can anyone gives some tips to troubleshoot this situation?

Thank you for the reply

The NVR POE ports assign an IP address in the 10.x.x.x range, so if your cameras are not in that subnet it will not find them.

The simple thing would be to factory reset the cameras on the NVR POE port and then let the NVR assign them IP addresses.

Dear Wittaj,

thank you for your reply.

The Camera's are with DHCP enabled.
If we power them off en repower them they should receive the ip adress from the nvr ?

but they are not visible in the nvr?

Should we activate an dhcp function in the nvr ?
also the option "virtual host" is activated, but this is unknown for me?

Thank you

Many NVR's assign the Admin password to the cameras connected to it. If your cameras password does not match it could be part of the problem. Like @wittaj said, you might be looking at doing a "reset" on the NVR connected cameras.

Reolinks are not truly ONVIF compatible so you will have to manually enter those into the NVR.
