Just a short demo of the Huisun mini PTZ recording a FedEx delivery using BI. Huisun settings are set at default. Camera is mounted about 7' (2.1m) above the deck floor.

Nice delivery...I'm used to seeing video of those guys throwing stuff over fences!

Both FedEx and UPS are pretty good here. My regular UPS driver actually hides packages behind the big BBQ because he knows I get some pricey shipments.

It looks like Lare started with a 3 Rail Adust-A-Gate Kit, no? What did you use for the motorized opener Lare? Mighty Mule or EZ Gate?
Very good observation Q2U. I used the 3 Rail Adjust-A-Gate this last summer to replace an old sagging gate. The motorized opener is a Mighty Mule as you guessed. I can control it manually, by remote or by Z-wave control no matter where I'm at as long as I have Internet access. Love this remote access stuff. :D

Oh...that is very VERY cool. My (someday I swear) driveway gate is going to be like that.

Those Adjust-A-Gate are really strong and it's surprising what one can do with them. Here's my Adjust-A-Gate project from a year and a half ago...

Great... another winter project for me now. Hahaha! Do you open the gate for Mr. FedEx when you see him drive up? What if you're not home? That doesn't looks like it's able to be opened the old way anymore... which I like.

Lare probably gave the FedX guy some kind of RF transmitter that auto-opens the gate when the truck rounds the corner!

When I'm expecting a delivery I program my Z-wave controller (VeraLite) to open the gate at 8:00 AM because I don't know when the package will be delivered. After the delivery, I can close the gate with remote control or z-wave controller. If I'm away from home, after the delivery I can close the gate remotely.

UPS has the 4 digit code to open the gate, but I usually leave the gate open when expecting a delivery. I don't think the FedEx guys have the code, so I usually leave it open for them or USPS.

Nope, can't open the old way. Nobody gets in here without me opening the gate or them climbing over the fence, which would be recorded by 8 cameras. :D

I love that -- thanks for sharing and I apologize for hijacking this thread with gate awesomeness talk. lol
