Hey guys, so I bought a couple of these off of amazon to play around with and see how they work. I have read that some of you guys had had luck flashing them to dahua/empiretech firmware. A lot of Amcrest to dahua/empiretech luck, but I was having trouble finding correct info for these cameras. That's why I thought I'd post this in case any of you guys have had luck with this specific camera. It is an Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI Software Version V2.800.00AC001.0.R, Build Date: 2021-08-10 WEB Version V3.2.1.913961 I think I may have tried to downgrade the firmware to: Amcrest_IPC-HX3XXX-Dalton_Eng_NP_Stream3_AMCREST_V2.800.00AC001.0.R.220715 I think I tried updating the firmware to: EmpireTech IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_V2.840.15OG00D.0.R.220818 (1) I never bricked them, but I couldn't get them to take the file. And they seem to be working ok with the V2.800.00AC001.0.R, Build Date: 2021-08-10 software Thanks in advance
