My Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-I2/8P NVR stopped sending email notifications as of 1/1/2024.
No settings on the NVR, router or my mailserver changed. Prior to that it was working flawlessly for like 3 years.
The email works fine when i manually test it from outlook, but every testing within the NVR now says failed.
Was something changed on the Hikvision side of things? Anyone have any ideas? ive check the dns which is correct. Hikvision app has internet access without any issue and i can access the app remotlely without being on the same network. Is this a firmware issue? (mine is up to date)
