Hi,

Over a number of years we have been struggling significantly with dahua AI.

Regarding IVS - Does motion detection have to be activated for intrusion detection to work?
In the intrusion detection settings, is it recommended to activate human and vehicle detection within the setting if that option exists?

No. Motion detection is not needed to be on when using IVS. In fact, most here will say do not have both on at same time.

You only need to activate human and/or vehicle. But the way the firmware is, most cameras will still on trigger for those and not animals even if you haven't selected human and vehicle.

Thank you, I currently have the MD on, since the tripwire's haven't been working with it off or on. On the other side of the property I am getting detection with Dual MD, SMD and Tripwire - but the same configuration doesn't work on the other fence line.
