Indoor Camera Recommendation

Now that I've got my outdoor camera situation well on the way (work in progress anyway), I have one door in the back that's very hard to get a camera on outside. Also this is in our basement entrance where my dog sleeps during the day so I'd like to have an indoor camera that could see what my dog is up to in the day but also catch someone that tried to slip in that door (see the attached pic for layout I'm trying to cover). The camera would need to be able to do low light (IR), works with POE, has a fairly short focal length (maybe 3-10ft max) and ideally a field of view around 90 degrees (could do with less FOV if needed). So I'm trying to figure out what my options are for the best indoor cameras on the market right now.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

I was looking at the Amcrest PRO HD but I know there’s other good ones out there too. What are other folks using inside with Blue Iris?

I've got 2 of the IP2M-841's for several years now for non-critical dog watching duty, streaming great to Blue Iris. That said, mine are the 5VDC, non-POE version. I don't know where you can get the POE version (with "E" suffix on the end, as in IP2M-841BE) except at Amcrest.

Are there any other higher end cameras I should be looking at for indoor use? Is there an equivalent to the 5442 but designed for indoors (ie is there a gold standard indoor cam)?

If you don't care about P/T maybe a Dahau-built cube camera, I think they have a 4MP POE version, Andy might still have it. Maybe @wittaj or @looney2ns can elaborate further, meantime I'll see if I can find a link. Hik has one too (I think).

EDIT 7/27/24 @ 0848 CDT:
Well, Andy's amazon store says currently unavailable on his 4MP POE cube.

However, there's a pricey Hikvision here.

the amcrest has no poe ?

Some people use dahua K22/K42 has indoor camera

k22 and k42 are sold under imou cube for cheap. you can put dahua firmware on it, if you care

could also be an option

if you need cheap autotracking cam,
search for imou ranger dual 3mp, they are sold here for 25€

If no "E" suffix then it's not POE.
IOW, IP2M-841B-V3 is 2MP 841 series, black, version 3 (auto-tracking, no I/O, microUSB for 5VDC power).

Amcrest sells the POE version, the IP2M-841EB => here.
think the amcrest same hardware as imou. they did the same, added autotracking and removed poe.

The Dahua cube is end of line.
