Drop ceiling recessed light style mounts for turret cams (generic of Hikvision)?

I recently bought two used Hikvision (DS-2CD2387G2-LSU/SL & DS-2CD2347G2-LSU/SL) turret cameras to learn with, and I should have done more homework, because wow are they much larger than I expected... I'm wondering if there are any generic turret cam mounts that look like a recessed light fixture (e.g. recessed lights with adjustable eyeballs) - where the large base of the turret is recessed up into the drop ceiling with just the turret/lens protruding enough not to be obscured. I saw Hikvision has some recessed mounts for specific cameras, but nothing for these two, and no real descriptions of anything I've seen.
Thanks!

Why not just mount it onto the ceiling using wall mates?
Otherwise you'd be cutting a big fuck off hole in your ceiling.

I'd like to reduce the ~6" height to ~3" - this would both make the camera less conspicuous (don't need visual deterrence, would prefer it not be SO large and obvious) as well as raise the height slightly which would benefit overall camera view. Because this would be installed on drop-ceiling tile and not drywall, it would be very easy and cheap to replace a tile if ever needed, so a large hole isn't a concern (drywall would also be easy to patch).

so just cut a hole where you need it and sit the camera in the hole.
Why would it need to be bolted to anything?
The hole will keep it in place.

However you do it, be sure to post photos here.

I saw someone do exactly what you’re asking for as the other member suggested. In the one example photo all they did was cut a hole just large enough so the base ring was used to hold the camera in place and falling through.

In another photo he simply cut out a ring from a tile and stacked it. Doing so raised the entire assembly the same thickness as the tile.

It didn’t look too bad except I have to say a turret isn’t something you’re going to say looks pleasing vs a flush mounted dome!
