During an event recording, I have a Dahua IPC-Color4K-T (encoding settings attached) that will fast forward in the middle of the event. This is a random act, but hitting close to 50% of events recorded sends the object into FF - see attached snip of two events.

I have two of these cams, identical settings, but only one with this issue. Any idea what causes this?

Thanks!

On some models it can be results of mixing IVS & SMD events.. this don't work very well.

also jumps like this happens where cable to cam isn't working 100% correct (transitions errors) or when HDD in NVR (or SD card in cams) start failing...

Have other cams (one same model) with IVS & SMD, no issues. And no problems with all other cams recording to HDD. Maybe cable? - but would expect to see drops and failures outside of the event recordings.

Solved the problem, and it was related to IVS - I had both Tripwire & Intrusion set for the same areas. Deleted the Intrusion, and (so far) no more double time during events.
Thx @bigredfish and @steve1225 for the guidence!
