I'm all about WD Purples for video clips but my choice of WD Blacks for O/S and programs got replaced by Samsung 860 and 870 EVO SSD's about 5 years ago.

I'm all about WD Purples for video clips but my choice of WD Blacks for O/S and programs got replaced by Samsung 860 and 870 EVO SSD's about 5 years ago.

WD Purples for the NVR and Samsung 870 EVO SSDs for my desktop are what I use. The Samsung SSD Magician and Samsung Data Migration software programs are top notch.
