Alert clips only stay in menu for 30 seconds?

On the left-side Alerts menu, a new Alert will popin/add to the list but then it disappears about 20-30 seconds later? The only Alert that says is the one from 2022 that is 'Flagged'

Alert : 'Limit Clip Age' = 7 days

That is happening to all alerts? Probably something weird going on with the AI confirmation code. Are you on the latest BI release?

I had BI5 rebuild the database and it seems to be working... I'll give it a few days to see if it happens again and LYK. thx for the help

It was working fine until 4:47am and we again have the same problem. I also noticed that the Alert clip never shows up in C:\BlueIris\Alerts folder or the 'move to' folder (NAS-Alerts) set in the Settings?

Then 20-30 seconds later, it disappears from the list and looks like this...

Bizarre.
Some things to check:

• Blue Iris's log, in case it mentioned deleting the alerts, maybe there is a clue there.
• Your storage configuration (size allocation too small perhaps?)
• The status window, Storage tab, to see if there is any free space, overallocation, etc.
• The actual Alerts folder on disk, in case maybe it has an unexpectedly large number of files in it.

I think I figured it out... they are moving to 'Cancelled Alerts'. The clip says "AI not responding'.

solution / fixed: for some reason .NET framework needed to be reinstalled. all fine now! thx again!!!

The clip says "AI not responding'... is that why they are cancelled?

I guess so. Seems like a questionable decision to hide alerts just because the AI app was not working. There might be a setting in Blue Iris's configuration to control that.
