Is anyone else having problems with the IPCT Uptime Watchdog?

It used to work but at least 3 months ago it quit, I get no notification if a server fails to return a ping, "status" remains yellow, "last checked" says "checking soon."

I PM'd Admin about this earlier this month and haven't heard back but I figured he's up to his gills what with the new baby plus working on the forum software recently

Im curious to understand how you specifically use this service in your personal environment and at what scale.

My questions would be has this service provided the intended purpose? Has it ever been wrong (false positive).

Why do you not use a local system to track, monitor, and provide alert notifications?

How reliable is this monitoring service vs others you may have used? What are your take always having used this or other similar services?

I have my own Blue Iris server and 3 more at other location for clients and use the service to monitor the status of their specific BI server.
Since I'm a IPCT+ member and since I am playing a monthly fee I take advantage of the service.
It has worked well in the past and has proven reliable until about 3 months ago.
I have not used a different/alternate service to date but may consider such if IPCT Admin is not able to resolve the issue by the end of the year.
One client is a tanning salon and clients have keys to enter after normal business hours so it's not always known immediately if there's an issue with their BI server.
