CPAI always processing images and generating thousands of alerts

I'm running CPAI 2.9.5 and BI 5.9.9.23. Overall it works OK but there's one weird issue I can't figure out.

It seems like BI is sending lots of data to CPAI because I see endless logs like below when there is no motion on cameras so there should be no AI analysis?

16:25:13:Response rec'd from Object Detection (Coral) command 'detect' (...d869ea) ['No objects found'] took 7301ms

And as a result, on the BI mobile app I see thousands of alerts!



What am I missing? I can't see any obvious config issues or errors in the log.

Do you have detect static images turned on? If so, it will be constantly sending a stream at whatever interval you set it for.

Thanks, that's what I was missing. I forget there was another level of dialog boxes for AI buried under alerts!
