You never mentioned why you record both main and sub screens in Full time? When you set your record page to manual for sub stream that makes it record that stream? Why would you want to record both full time by schedule and full time by manual control? Only Full is good enough you said before? Just wondering?
that should be just main recording f/t & sub not record at all , will amend , but more pressing problem , i am getting dark grey horizontal bars rising up the screen , which i thought could be resolved by changing exposure/antiflicker from outdoor to 5ohz , but that then removes shutter manual mode with shutter & gain variables !!!
I thought the sub recording was for multicam viewing during playback so it doesn't choke on X number of mainstreams trying to display simultaneously.

No you would have to set up multiple profiles and force a shutter speed instead of a range.is there some way of doing speeds to a variable /multiple of 5o to mitigate ? ie 50hz
I've never had sub stream recording, but I have no clue what it exactly does either, so :shrug:Could be. I recall Nayr and a guy from Nellys recommending it on my first system in 2012?2014
The way I have it set it say Record the Substream full time in addition to the Main stream.
I'll turn it off and see but I think the last time I did that I save like almost 0 space for some reason on the HD so I turned it back on
