The Typical picture of a Perp on Nextdoor-type Apps with Consumer Grade Cameras like Ring, Nest, Arlo, Canary, Wyze, etc.

Anybody recognize this bike thief? This is a great example illustrating that while light is important, where it originates is just as important.

Any time a perp is in between the light source and the camera, you will get a backlit situation and the image will basically be a black shadow.

So, from this picture of the pickup driving away that totally missed the person stealing tools from the back of the parked pickup, people have said it has to be a two-toned silver and blue truck and the police can probably enhance it for plates LOL

Cmon man ID is simple on that last set of pics.

They appear to be humans. At least one wearing grayish and one wearing darkish clothes.

Should be an open and shut case

Geesh

So this dude has had at least 8 door checkers, door bashers, bikes stolen, etc. over the years, many of which I have posted in this thread.

Someone commented that he needs better cameras and he replied that the camera is fine....

And his first post on Nextdoor goes all the way back in 2020 started with this: "POLICE REPORT FILED!!! Police cant use the pictures or videos unless they can see a face. I was told this by the Officer"
So it appears he went from an NVR based system in 2020 to the current Ring system. Big upgrade LOL
