Lots of negative reviews of Tim Dahle Mazda in Sandy, UT

Don't want to victim shame, but sounds like it was bound to happen eventually.

Maybe the man thought that they should offer "no appointment, drive in and drop off service" ! :idk:

Yep, they'll never change. I bought a used car from them about 30 years ago and the transmission went out within 5 days. In the "fine print' the car was sold "as is" so they wouldn't do anything to help. I'm surprised they're still in business.

The driver's response,

I didn't see that much regret and remorse, lots of blame placed on typical life situations that we all face, didn't really accept responsibility, IMO. Maybe an unedited version of his video would have shown that, I cannot say.

Bottom line....a grown-ass man acting like a child with an adult vehicle....he could have killed someone.

I hope he gets the time in jail to ponder his actions and will handle things VERY differently next time. And there will be a next time...that's what life is....a series of hardships and tears, sprinkled with periodic victories and joy.

My two cents.

If the only car he could afford was a used car headed to the auction, he's going to need a GoFundMe account for his defense attorney legal fees.

He might be able to clam temporary insanity brought on by someone at the dealership physically threatening him. From some of the Yelp reviews, it is an all to common occurrence.

When you ask to leave a dozen time they will refuse to give you your keys. When you finally explain why you don't want to do the deal, they will end up threatening to knock you out if you don't leave immediately.

He continued to ask for his keys multiple times. Even after the keys were given they were pressuring him. Eventually another guy walked over said he needed to leave or that he would knock him out on the showroom floo

I wonder if he can prove any of what he has said that THEY said and/or did, either by a third party witness or has a video recording. If not, I think he's fighting an uphill battle.
