Clip Lengths - BI and Camera AI

I am switching over my AI from CPAI to the camera AI but wanted to sense check a few things. I know I won't get the confirmed flag like I do now with CPAI but for some reason, I just get small clips (in Alert), not a continuous motion event. Currently my MAKE time is 10 secs and the Record Delay on my camera is 10 seconds. I only have an intrusion box set up with appear and cross options checked. I am curious, what others are using for their record times in BI and the camera. I will grab some screen grabs later tonight (if needed) when I get home from work but thought I would pose the question.
 
Thanks. I do record 24/7 with substreams. I guess where my confusion lies is with CPAI it would stay recording as the motion continued, with the IVS, it seems like it only records the duration of "MAKE time" vs continuous motion.

You need to spend some time studying the built-in help file in Blue Iris, it's explains all of this.
It will record as long as the trip wire is triggered, based on the Make Time.

Thanks. I will check it out and play around some more. The problem I seem to be having is a car will drive into my intrusion zone (trigger to record) and while the car is still moving within that zone, after 10 secs (MAKE time), it goes back to sub stream, it isn't continually triggering like it would with CPAI.

Make the "make time 20 seconds".
