Review-EmpireTech IPC-B52IR-X3 1/2.8" CMOS 3 × 2 MP bullet cam

Suck it up , I had to swap 2 junction boxes recently because one was square and the other round. Yeah, it wasn't fun, but had to be done.

I believe this one is the PFA121 as it also uses the four mounting holes
it uses the same base as the pfa121 but the cover plate is different; had to purchase the pfa124

why do i have the funny feeling the 4 holes align perfectly with the pfa130e

Anyone have a link for the manual for this camera? I'd like to read up on the setup of it

Its 1 IP address. 3 channels

I'll test that later tonight or tomorrow, Currently mine's on as witch just becasue thats where the wire I had open goes to with a splitter no less

I'd be curious to know how that works and if you can connect to one port on an NVR and configure for 3 channels And of course how its done

Notice below that 2 NVR channels have the same IP address, but different remote channel settings (this is for a 2-channel thermal camera).

Since you've had your hands on one, what are your thoughts and recommendations for use?

It is a great camera and can replace 3 cameras with one under the right situation, and it is an IR blaster and can eliminate one of those as well.

All the cameras point the same way and can be adjusted vertically a bit for the GUI. But each camera setting is independent on the other so you can run color for the wide angle and faster shutters and infrared for the zoom camera.

It holds its own for the 1/2.8" sensor.

Here was a post I made about and a follow up showing it can be used as LPR.

As I mentioned, this could be a good candidate for the dark intersection on the southeast corner of our property. I'd like to have a tight shot to recognize objects but would also like an overview as to not miss anything. I was originally going to use the B54IR-Z4E I have at this location, but you have one or the other, not both

Is this camera appropriate for a tight alleyway? Or is it better for open spaces?
