Why even use junction boxes if you're not going to seal the entrance point of the wire? You may as well mount the camera directly to the building and leave the connection exposed
And that nice and sturdy OSHA approved ladder - that's a wonderful one to use, especially when it collapses on its own with the person on it
I think a lot of what is seen in this video would have trouble getting the green light upon inspection
Analog cams, white non-UV zip ties on black cables, non-existent drip loop........
The cams being analog is actually not really bad, some people prefer them, and sometimes a budget can dicate them also.

Getting comfortable
I've seen much worse. At some locations the person paying for the system doesn't own the bld so the bld owner wants an install that can be removed if the tenant moves away. I'm not crazy about the mounting box. They cost about as much as a quality cam housing.

OSHA suks. imho, too many rules for careful installers. I hate wearing a vest on scissor lifts. I've been told by Managers or constructions bosses I'm slow. I don't get mad i usually just say i try to be very deleberate

Not sure what country that was in, but compared to some stuff I've seen on the web in 3rd word countries it's probably considered "top Notch" install.
I can see why it's such a mess installation. He's obviously a Hikvision engineer (as it says on the back of his t-shirt) and he's installing Dahua equipment. Never mix other brands.

If it wasnt for ugly power supplies I'm not against analog cams and ability for a few ip cams, but poe is just the predominate style. Of course I havent checked into many analog cams or what kind of bandwidth you get with an xvr or what kind of sensors are available with analog cams.

Another wonderful install, with wonderful equipment. This time in California.
POS equipment, POS install, POS video....I forgot to fasten my barstool seat belt and I got so dizzy I hit the floor.
