Got an Amcrest AD410 up and running yesterday with Blue iris. Got Main and Substream setup. I've Been playing around with it. I'm using ONVIF alerts sent from the AD410 Motion Sensor Triggers to blue iris. It doesn't appear however that the Human detection/triggers that the AD410 picks up will send ONVIF alerts to Blue iris. is this normal?

are there any other tips for setting up the Amcrest with blue iris? Was hoping to get the human alerts to work but maybe it doesn't work with this camera? Also doesn't appear to have any setting to setup the I-Frame. i'm at 15fps / 0.5 has perfect 5ghz signal with an AP literally 15 feet from it. is it recommended to use H.264, H.264B or H.264H?

To be honest the AD410 and the AD110 should not be changed from any 3rd party software or hardware. To be honest not even from the Amcrest Software that it says things can be changed using the Amcrest Ip config tools but if you do it will make the camera unstable and do a Constant Reboot. Then you will need to remove the camera from the mount to Reset it.. That is a task of its own...

When you connect the camera to Blue Iris. It would be best to just let it work as it will without making any changes that could cause the camera to fail. There are some that have reported Fail to the point that a reset didn't even cure. I would tread with caution.

Interesting. Why do they provide software for it to make all these changes in the Amcrest tool?

Yes that is what I am talking about.. Others that have and my self as well seeing I like to Tinker and troubleshoot things.. I have tried to make some little adjustments that should have no impact on the cameras ability to function but in fact caused my Ad410 to go into a boot cycle. While I can not say that is what will happen to everyones cameras that try to make some adjustments. Just that it has been an issue and from such issues with my own hardware I always offer a word of caution as some people are using these devices while away and have no direct access to the camera if it happens to fail while they are away.. One down side of this device is that it likes to talk when it isn't happy.. Always reporting every time it connects to the network. If you are in an area that someone could take that info and do harm. Just trying to keep any one and everyone that might have these safe.. Changes made form the Smart Home app is the best option with the Ad410.. No option for the Ad110 to be fair. Toggling on and off WDR could Key word there is COULD cause a problem. However with the Ad410 everything that I did off the Smart Home app has been fine..

Interesting. Yea I been trying to get onvif alerts to send from human detection but I think it's just not possible. Actually my BI get alerts stopped getting alerts all together from the ad410 this morning and I had to reboot the camera to get them to return so I'll keep an eye on this. Thank you for the advice.

So I noticed exactly what you are referring to tonight and had to factory reset my camera. Picture quality was horrible. This time I left the camera settings in the tools other than the app alone and will see what happens.
