US Elections (& Politics) :)

I bet if we drastically cut all federal aid for anyone who is able to perform a job they the lines will get even longer.

Meatpacking sounds like one rough job... the deported migrants must have had a great work ethic... I hope the new applicants aren't just overambitious meth heads:

Haha

I am seeing at least 4 K35 Stratotankers either over the Atlantic and a couple more almost there. All heading due east. Several C5's and a bunch of C130's are already in Europe. Airspeed on the Tankers in flight are over 500 knots. 2 tankers took off from an Military base in NH, one out of St Lewis and one out of Kansas.

I do not care if our AirForce takes out Iran's remaining nuclear facilities. I bet a lot of Arab countries in the region agree.
So if there is going to be a regime change I would bet it will turn out to be similar to Iraq. The West is Not going to change the Middle East. As long as Islam rules, it is like mixing oil and water...just my opinion...

When has regime change worked for the US? I suppose some might point to Libya?
Well they seem to calm the radicals down for a period but they will always form new Hate groups...

Islam does Not promote peace as they would like everyone to believe.

Agreed. You would need to eradicate Islam all together and replaced with Christianity. And most of the world for that matter.

I bet John Bolton just creamed himself!

Trump tries to redefine ‘America First’ in the face of MAGA backlash

"Facing growing backlash, including from figures in his own party, over U.S. involvement in foreign wars, Donald Trump is trying to rebrand the “America First” slogan he popularized."

"‘Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that,’ Trump told me."

"There’s also more than a little Orwellian doublespeak at play here, as the president suggests that preventing Iran from having a nuclear weapon is a precondition of peace — even if that goal requires supporting a war. This position would seem to be the inevitable justification for his acquiescence to Israel launching its attack on Iran, given the failure of his negotiating team to replace the treaty he blew up in his first term. Just like he decided that Russia and Ukraine need to “fight for a while” after his negotiators couldn’t deliver the long-promised deal between those two nations."

"Nonetheless, Trump’s remark to The Atlantic shows his clear belief that “America First” means whatever he says it means and that the MAGA faithful should just roll with that no matter what."

... and the reason they should not have nuclear weapons.
While I agree Iran shouldn't get nukes. Iran's neighbour Pakistan already have nukes since late 90s. Now after Iran collapses every country will now think the only way they will not be invaded is by getting nukes themselves.

Pakistan already sold nuke secrets to NK. Many middle eastern countries want to get their own nukes.

Remember Israel is said to have talked with India to take out the nukes in Pakistan in 80s or 90s but India wasn't getting involved and the US needed Pakistan for arming Taliban against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

So after Iran it will be Pakistan, since they get most of their arms from China and with Chinese ports and other investment in Iran going down the drain after the regime change. China will most likely react to this.

Also Turkey and Israel are on a collision course in Syria.

So Israel is going to pull us into many more wars.
