Can't view old flagged videos

I have been using Blue Iris for about 9 years now and I have a lot of videos flagged. I recently tried to view a flagged video from 2024 and Blue Iris crashed. Tried again with others from earlier, same result.
Is this a known problem and, if so, is there a solution?

I t would be helpful to provide the BI version that you are using! If you are still running a 9 year old version a lot of things have changed since then!

Did you check if your storage drive has errors (use CHKDSK or your drive utility)?

Disks are fine. In fact, I can export these clips to mp4 just fine so the files are OK, the Blue Iris app just wont play the .bvr files in the viewer. In fact, when I double-click to open a .bvr file from 2022, Windows launches Blue Iris and it briefly shows the first frame and then crashes. Maybe the bvr file format has changed over the years and is not backward compatible?
