Reolink POE doorbell

Hi all,
Recently got the POE doorbell.
cat 6 cable confirmed working and also extra doorbell power is already there.
However, the orange light on my Poe switch flickers on and off and the doorbell loses connection.
I have started a warranty claim as resetting the device isn’t working and I have exhausted all options.
Anyone else have the same issue?

Reolink's online support for PDF manual is hosed, battery powered, POE and Wi-Fi versions (doorbell transformer powered) all mixed together with no clarity so I can't offer go suggestion (I have 2 of the Wi-Fi versions) but I can ask:

• Can you try powering the doorbell NOT with POE but with 12-24VAC or DC of 2.0 AMP rating applied to the terminals and the CAT cable connected to a non-POE switch?
• You don't have both the POE switch connected AND the terminal block connected to any source of power at the same time, do you?

Thanks so much for your amazing reply. I have tried option 1, but ur second thought is right I do have both terminal block and POE plugged in. Is this wrong?

I believe so because either POE voltage or 12 to 24V AC or DC is converted internally to logic level. And since 802.3af/at compliant POE require communication between the PSE (power supply) and the PD (in this case, the doorbell), having both connected is likely an issue.

Disconnect the AC or DC from the twin terminals and see what happens.
