Hi!

I ran into a problem after moving, that when I access UI or the app, it's loading extreeeemely slow if I'm connected to my home network, but accessing the domain I've setup (and always used, just updated the fixed IP).
If I access the local IP, loads with no issues.
If I disconnect wifi and just use my phone's data, it loads with no issues as well- Same domain etc. that I'm entering, only difference is the provider.

I remember having this issue quite some years ago, but I've tried almost everything and can't crack the code again. Does anyone have any tips?
Remote wizard runs through with all green checkmarks, since it does work, we're just talking 1~ minute before it logs in, then it has to load cameras etc..

I could just not care, but there's no reason in not using the wifi when I'm at home, so the data usage doesn't go crazy on my subscription ;)

Is the phone an Apple or Android device
Have you tried to ping the IP address from the phone, what is the response time?
Could it be a name resolution issue on the local lan

Maybe it's my current mental state (chemo-brain) but after reading your description of your problem I have no idea.....not trying to be critical or difficult but I can't follow it......seems to be contradictory here and there, at least to me. Sorry! :idk:

May be a issue caused by the Router. I recall it's known as "NAT Lookback". Perhaps a Google search can assist further.
Yes, I think it's called "NAT loopback" and you could be right about that being an issue since his slowdown comes when using the hostname/WAN IP from within the LAN.

Good catch!

Yup
I learneded that here

I looked that up, but it seems like people with that issue can't access the UI at all, I can, it's just crazy slow!

My current router is an Asus TUF GAMING AX6000, running as the main router (Fiber box attached, but the Asus router setup with PPPoE)
It has NAT loopback, enabled by Asus and not able to change this.

This worked just perfectly at my old address, the only change is that now I'm on a new address, but using the same router - This time as the main one, before I had a coax connection where the providers router was setup in bridge mode.

Well done for looking into the issue, I thought maybe causing the issue. Not sure how to assist further, apart from contacting Asus, so to hopefully resolve.
