Looking for In Depth Reviews or Videos of the NVR608RH-32-XI NVR

I’ve been researching the NVR608RH-32-XI network video recorder, but I haven’t been able to find any detailed reviews, video demonstrations, or user experiences. Has anyone here can point me to comprehensive information? How reliable and responsive is it in real-world usage? Planning to use with IPC-HFW7442H-Z4-X (License Plates capturing) and 2 X IPC-HFW71242H-Z-X common IVS rules setup.

Seems to me he had said it hasn't received the FW updates that were expected. But even then, it should have no problem with those functions

We have gone round and round with you in the past on a camera for LPR lol.

Please make sure you have studied what we have shared with you in the past and measured the distance you need and get the proper camera for the distance you are looking for or you may be buying yet another wrong camera for what you want to do.

That is a great camera if your distance and angle is under 60ish feet. If it is more, then it is the wrong camera.

IPC-HFW7442H-Z4-X will be dedicated to license plate capture, set up with a tight view focused on the center of the street, using an effective shutter speed and all other appropriate settings.

So I don't know why anyone on this forum should care.

You didn't chose the wrong forum, but if you don't listen to the advice given to you, why ask?

Just like we told you in your situation that the 12MP camera was the wrong choice and nobody would recommend or suggest that camera in any condition and you still went with it and then complained about it being too dark.

Or going down the path of BI doing the plate logging without even setting up the camera to read plates despite many telling you that was the first step.

We are more than eager to help people, but this isn't an "affirmation you are going down the right path even when you aren't" forum....

We call it like it is. To some people the truth hurts.

What you want to accomplish can be done with a lot cheaper cameras...
