Dahua NVR5208-XI (WizMind) — worth it or better options?

I do not believe the USA versions will be updated any more since Dahua sold that division.

And people that have come here after buying the USA versions of 5442 model cameras off B&H this year only to find out they were the older GUI versions....and they paid way more for them than the newer model.

Unless you get it at a steal, I would stay away from the US models and get an international version so that you can get updates if you want to do that.

That’s actually what I’m wondering… so would the Luminysy NVR be a better way to go? I think this is a compatible model?

How much are you saving?

We have seen many people here try to save a few bucks by not buying Empiretech only to find out their device is an older unit or can't be upgraded, etc.
