    If you really are a "master tinkerer", and don't mind some minor setup, pfSense is where it's at. I have 9 VLANs running on a 10GbE backbone. I'll never use anything else.

    I have the time/date overlays turned off in the Blue Iris GUI, but they're showing in the UI3. I assume there's a separate control for them in the UI but can't seem to find it. If someone knows where it's at offhand and can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

    Another pfSense user here. I'll never use anything else. If there's ever a problem with setting anything up, there's always a youtube vid about it. I've gone overkill with a Xeon E3 CPU and a 10GbE backbone. Multiple VLANs, etc.

    I actually have the VLAN with my BI Server on it set to 1.1.1.1, but my main network uses the locally hosted DNS of 127.0.0.1. (It's a lot faster and I don't steal my data.) I think the listen ports for the local DNS Resolver are port 53 and 853, so I'm probably clear on port 5000 with the AI...

    I'm using pfSense for my router and using 127.0.0.1 for a locally hosted DNS. How much of a problem is that with CodeProjectAI IP being the same (though on port 5000)?
