Hi, can you help me out with Alistair's post, my NVR has been getting flakey lately, so I want to update the firmware.

I'm familiar with the USB TTS interface and telnet, but extracting and modifying the mtdblock1 is a mystery to me. How do I go about extracting this block and will it be obvious if it is encrypted?
