Update - Was with the customer yesterday. Ended up just exporting video from two cameras of a person coming into and leaving work for a week. Basically 60 clips. Threw it on a external drive for them. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Well I am having a conversation later today with them. Its a good client I just need them to understand this is a bit out of the normal realm.

Heck even reviewing it all on X16 it would be a pain.

They have to make a decision fairly fast as well. In a couple days they will be overwriting days they want. I guess I could add a HD to NVR to prolong this though if it came down to it.

It's a Hikvision 9632. Some cameras they want are 24/7 some are on motion. Yes recording sub stream (I think). This is a VFW club, they don't really have a network per say although the VMS software is on a couple PC's. Apparently they want to see if certain employees are actually there for the...

So I have a customer that wants me to download footage from about 15 or more cameras for 17 days! How do you even do that? If it can be done how do you calculate the size thumb drive needed? Ive only downloaded clips not full days.

I actually just emailed Hikvision to see which camera they would recommend - keep everybody posted.

As far as IR concerns. I was just wondering if a camera above would just reflect off the bills at night? Another words would you be able to identify 10, 20's etc?

Those pictures are from two domes currently installed. Yes because of the smoking the cameras do need to be cleaned more often. I did think about the mini domes but have no experience on how well the IR is on them? Hikvision makes them in 3.6 mm as well. Not a fan of fish eye lenses.

Has anyone used the Dahua's on a Hikvision NVR? Any issues? ONIV protocol?

These will be new. Nothing there currently. They want to capture the cash drawer to watch transactions. I like the darkfighters I just wish they were not so large. Smoking = private club here in PA

A customer wants to add two cameras to watch the cash drawers in a bar. Pretty dark place in the evening. Drop ceiling about about 4-5 ft. above POS height. There is a POS on either side of this bar about mid way. Hard to see in pictures. Currently I have all Hikvision cameras on this system...
