latest Version of DAHUA HTTP API FOR IPC Documentation ??

I don't see any calls to control local/"remote multi view" layout, such as 2x2, 8 on screen, 3x3 etc. Anyone has an idea how to switch that?

    Did Axis got Hacked?

Well, we don't know what going on yet plus havking their servers doesn't mean the cameras are hacked.

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

I bit over my head at the moment. I noticed that once you click on the camera in the webUI, NVR will keep this port open (18+ hours for now) but only for that IP address. My goal is to figure out a way to foul it via curl/wget one day.

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

Very interesting. That explains why I can't curl directly to the camera via 10080. I also want to keep the cameras on the PoE ports but I wish there was an option to have them on same submet as NVR WAN port (e.g. disable NAT or whatever it is running on the NVR). May be we can join forces and...

    FYI - LeChange / Dahua 8x 8MP/4K UHD IP PoE cameras + 16 channel port PoE NVR 2/3TB HDD $899 7/13/18

FYI, I had issues with AlarmCenter (IP based notifications). 4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000003.1.R.200813 resolved the issues. Symptoms were - AlarmCenter would stop reporting after reboot; Camera rules would have their "report alarm" unchecked (setting lost) after reboot. It is fixed now and this...

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

1 sec was bad for me thru the NVR but great for directcameras. See comments above. I think I left it at 3. Probably what this setting does it actually buffers the snapshot every so many seconds, so when needed, it is ready. But my NVR most likely can't handle 1 second interval (individualcamera...

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

I did not. After lowering down frame rates of my cameras (to 10fps) the delay is under 3 seconds most of the time and often under 1 sec, so this became lower priority. Let me know if you need help with curl or wget as I have that working (straight from the NVR or camera direct). One more thing...

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

I just discovered that I can get the snapshot direct from the camera by going to http://192.168.1.108:10080/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi , where 10080 is the camera port, instead of http://192.168.1.108/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?channel=X where X is channel number. That only works in a browser though. Both...

HTTP Snapshots Download Times Slow [Advanced Question]

Well, sometimes they do -I am getting them in 0.3 seconds from time to time. I just noticed that reducing the frame rate of the camera stream have impact. Still have occasional 4-5 seconds but it is better then where I started. I wonder if there is a way to monitor the NVR CPU via SSH.
