The switch only works 192.x.x.x

My Router is xfinity and I use the Hikvision ip camera with a Cisco POE switch. I cannot get the ip camera or the switch to connect with the router. Can someone please help me configure this process? I use a Mac, but I can boot to Windows-7. Thanks

Going into the breezeway requires to remove all of the soffit. Then the wires have to go up the inside exterior wall toward the attic. Using the power line adaptor, installing some kind of conduit on the fascia or digging are the only options. Wireless will not be used.

Where will I put the EMT because the breeze way is closed with a soffit underneath. In other words, there is no open rafters to be seen. The soffit is a cheap thin 1/4" plywood.

I have a detached garage, but the main switch and router is in the bed room. Is it best to use conduit from the garage to the house or something else? There is a breeze way from the garage to the house, but wires under the breeze way looks very tacky. Any input will be appreciated.

Ok! ...but I think the IP address for the camera is 192.168.1.87 and it is on media port 9000.

I tried it, but it doesn't work. I ping it successfully, but it still doesn't work. I got the camera ip address from the router.

How do I do this? The only software that works for me is the Swann View. I can successfully ping the camera, but the browser will never open the Swann's utility in the camera.
