    DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR Issues.

I call it Bull crap. You are not going to find a GOOD 8 port 150Watt poe switch for that price. I have worked out a solution for my CHEAPO system that work for me. Unless you are going to pay for the system for me... kindly keep your opinion's to your self. I am tires of seeing people on here...

    DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR Issues.

Decent computer $300. HD $200 BI $57.99 Poe Switch 8 port 150 watts? Have figured out that it is a limitation of the cameras, not the NVR. Just have to find 2 cheap Hikvision compatible bullet cams that have smart detect (Line & Intrusion) and I may have a line on those. (DS-2CD2T35FWD-I5)...

    DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR Issues.

$550.00 I am familiar with blue iris, I really do not want to go that route due to all the Poe cameras I have. I did fin if I have a camera with line cross, or perimeter cross detection, what I want to do will work. Really dumb it will not work from just motion detect.

    DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR Issues.

I am NOT trying to bash anyone, just telling it like it is. I bought a used DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR with a 6TB hard drive from B&H Photo. I have 2 Sunba Tech PTZ Poe cameras, 2 Bullet Poe cameras, and 1 Chinese Poe PTZ. All 5 cameras hooked up to and recording motion only as I wanted. I...

A bit confused on a doorbell

I do use home assistant (Google) I love that when the doorbell is pressed, with in 2 seconds an image is being shown on the home assistant screen (Google nest hub) I just want to do away with the CLOUD. I have a 6TB NVR, I don't need no stinking cloud.

Triggering a PTZ camera from movement

I have a Hikvision 16 channel Poe NVR. Camera 1 = 2MP Fixed bullet camera set up to record motion. (THIS WORKS AS ADVERTISED) Camera 2 = 5MP 30X PTZ Also set up to record motion. (THIS ALSO WORKS AS ADVERTISED) I have a preset on Camera 2 set up to zoom in on my front door. I want Camera 2...

A bit confused on a doorbell

I currently have a Nest doorbell, works great except for 2 things: 1) Have to pay for service. 2) Can not use it with my Hikvision NVR. I have read these two post: EZVIZ DB1C RCA Doorbell After reading all the DB1C stuff, unless I missed something, it wont work with my NVR and give motion...

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

Yes the Reolink cameras are connected to the NVR via ONVIF using port 8000, and the port is set the same as well. Both cameras are using assigned fixed IP addresses. Problem is the NVR will not activate any of the camera functions. If you try to set up motion, it will let you set the...

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

Managed to fire up ONVIF Manager. Both cameras responded to all changes I could make in the OM. Both cameras DID show movement. I put a SD card into the 420, it still will not trip movement on the NVR. Hikvision WILL show video from both cameras, and will record 24/7 only when manual record...

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

Some further info: the Reolink RLC-410 and RLC-420 share the exact same firmware. These are identical cameras just in different housings. I thought it may be a port setting issue, but the Reolink use ONVIF 8000 HTTP 80. I have NOT tried putting an SD card into the camera and setting up...

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

I have that already, I'll give it a look just for grins. Like I said, the cameras landed in my lap for next to nothing, I would be crazy not to try them out, but if they wont trigger a motion even so I can move my tracking PTZ, then they are of little use to me.

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

wittaj...... I read your post. I am on the latest firmware release for the NVR, Problem I am having it that you cannot set anything for the Reolink cameras from inside of the NVR. even the date and time had to be set using the Reolink client. It is a shame too. I get real crisp images from...

    Reolink cameras and Hikvision NVR

Interesting thought : The NVR will not let you set anything for the cameras. If you try to activate motion recording, you just get an error, or a "Not supported" error.
