Firstly I am in the camp of if manufacturers go to the trouble of developing new firmware for their product helping with the future of the said product then why not upgrade for many reasons.

As above really, I have been using Microsoft Edge for quite some time recently to view my CCTV footage through the browser without any issues.

WOW an old thread but after a Google search which pointed me here (thanks again Alastair) I found out how to enable - disable the green "Dynamic" squares on my screen.

Had this issue only last week.
Asked some questions and found the answer was to hard reset both the cameras involved.
Plug back into the NVR and let the NVR sort out the new IP addresses.
All worked perfect since.
Bizarre my DS-7608NI-K2/8P with V4.30.005 won't work with Microsoft Edge.:rolleyes:
Still using Internet Explorer and working fine though so no issues.
