works great once it’s done!
Only issue I have is that the zwave sensor will get stuck on the open position sometimes and not auto close itself but it’s infrequent enough that I don’t care to troubleshoot it
you can activate anything so long as it has the same ability as the zwave switch.
Sorry I dont recall anything about the wiring I did as it’s been years and I only did it once. I believe I typed out most of it in this thread though.
this is the one I use: https://amzn.to/34TiTfQ
It has two manually wireable terminals which can trigger the sensor and those two terminals are what works with the cameras harness
I'm currently running a hacked up Dahua Doorstation VTO as I made a thread here about it: Dahua VTO2111D-WP Information and Hacking
What I want to know is....
Does 2-way audio work WITHIN the blueIris app audio button?
Can this doorbell trigger a zwave/smart home open/close relay somehow?
Can...
Unfortunately there is no 'diagram', I didnt make one either. I used a circuit play board to mess with resistors and etc like in the photos from the link above. In the photos of the hacking tutorial you can kind of see what resistor goes where.
I did this almost 2 years ago as well so i dont...
Finally got around to this...
Yes, there is IR! It only turns on when the IDMSS app has the camera selected, though! Is there a way to use IR at night 'always on'?
Yes with values Auto, colorful, and B/W.
Mine is set to auto but is dark at night. I just thought that this unit does not have IR on it. I dont see any red LED's at night on the camera so I figured I didnt. Changing the modes does not give me a nice IR night shot like my other dahua cameras.
No i'm on 4-4-2017 v1.000
WAY OLD but I'm afraid to update it and brick it.
Have you done a firmware update?
I do have that sensor value, mine is at 60, I've never touched it.
I will also add that my camera does not work when set as 'Dahua' and 'Main stream RTSP' with a path of '/'
Mine only works as:
Camera: Amcrest
Type: ProHD/4MP/RTSP
Path: /cam/realmonitor/
Pretty much mirrors my experience.
I will add:
You can have a username besides admin/admin but it has to be newadmin999/newadmin999 or newadmin1/newadmin1 with the same username/pass which is stupid but at least it's more secure than the default admin/admin
Since it's 720p I was OK with 30FPS...
12v power is the only option, which IMO is worse than even battery power due to the fact that it needs an outlet within proximinty to the mounting location out of sight like in an attic.
A nightmare for retro-fits of old doorbells and homes without good access and concrete walls, etc.
If it...
