Andy, I see in another thread of yours where you have a PDF showing the latest firmware available for each camera, you have a newer firmware available for the 5442 series that you never posted about. It is from April of this year (2023).
Any update on what is new and improved in this...
Yes I have one install with this configuration and it works fine.
The only issue is with newer firmware, SMD: vehicle does not appear as an option for dahua cameras so you will have to use IVs for motion detection.
@EMPIRETECANDY
I have had it happen twice and both times rebooting fixed it. The two times it happened were almost back to back, but now its been fine for at least a week. Although it ran fine for several weeks before the issue happened in the first place. Seems like something funky is...
I was using an adaptive scene when the issue happened.
Also when it happened there was nothing I could do to correct it. I tried setting manual exposure speeds, changing the current profile running, etc, but nothing would get it to look proper until I rebooted.
I have this exact same issue running the latest firmware. The White LED's are staying on 24/7 as well. A reboot clears it up, but it didn't fix it for to long last time I rebooted it.
Can we get some more info on the correct procedure to complete a "Splicing Calibration" from the camera interface? Is it expecting a certain image in its FOV to perform the calibration? Thanks,
Am I missing something? The text says that is the 200312 version, but the actual link takes you to the 201123 version, which I assume does not have auto tracking? Do you have a copy of the 200312 version hosted somewhere?
Any updates on this?
I have a cam doing the exact same thing. What version is your MCU Firmware? I'm using the latest available on their website:
System Version2.812.0000012.0.R, Build Date: 2021-09-04
PTZ Version2.401.0000001.11.RHNAN_210903_39102

My guess is it has to do with how iOS handles incoming notifications and apps running in the background.
I think iOS power management is preventing dmss from running in the background to receive notifications into the app at all times.
That is why it is only received into the notification...
IMHO the android app is next to perfect.
The iOS app seems to be a horribly flakey.
The current issue I'm facing is on Android when I view a notification from the messages section, it shows the 10 seconds prior to the event happening, then the event, then at the end it shows however long you...
I had tested this firmware at my place and I don't recall having much issue with false alerts. I upgraded 3 cameras at another location, and they seem to be having more issues with false alerts on IVS Intrusion than previously.
I think I"ll go back to the December 2020 version for now, and...
Ha, I wish I had that time!
This is kind of what I figured, just I thought it NVR's were capable of doing the processing locally, that there would maybe be a service that could do it as well. Unfortunately I'm probably stuck with the Cam/NVR to do the processing.
Blue Iris + Plate...
Hey,
If I want to do ALPR without a subscription or rely on an Internet connection, is the only way to do that with an NVR that supports ANPR?
I thought it could be done with Blue Iris, but I see the only ALPR support Blue Iris has is using Plate Recognizer, which still seems to upload the...
