    Missing footage

I recently changed one of my cameras to a IPC-T5442T-ZE and every minute or so Blue Iris time will freeze and footage will not record (for 15 seconds or so and then the video feed either goes to No Signal or the time catches up with the feed) even though through the browser interface I see the...

Let me know if you'd trade for a PTZ SD1A404XB-GNR 4M 4x Starlight IR PTZ (also like new).

    Alert Side Frame

Brilliant - that did it! Thank you! Let me know if anyone is aware of a way to change the navigation buttons (size increase)? The 'skip to next alert' buttons are too small and I constantly have to re-center - I can't be the only one??!!

    Alert Side Frame

I apologize if this has been asked/answered before (I did look), but is there anyway to move the alert (side frame) to the right-hand side (from the left - similiar to how it was set up in BIv4)? Also, is there a setting to increase the size of the navigation buttons? Thanks for any help with...

House Camera Setup and LPR Advice

You have the best vantage point but I agree I would (guess based on photos) likely move camera to capture more in this area (see black rectangle).

Also, From the KIA screenshot to the UPS truck it appears you zoomed in (which is great) with that said as you zoom in the field of view shifts down and a manual adjustment upwards may be warranted.

House Camera Setup and LPR Advice

I'd personally paint the mount, and bottom/top plastic covers on camera - obviously there are reasons not to...also likely better to extended visor and I could be seeing things but is the protective lens clear sticker still on the camera?

    Review IPC-T5442TM-AS-LED (Full Color, Starlight+)

I received the IPC-T5442TM-AS this morning, and I found that the shell is the same as the IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE - I didn't even bother swapping out the old base from the mount. Also, I didn't open it up but it appears to be a m16 lens (vs. the standard m12). I guess the m12 lens is becoming obsolete!

    IPC-MBW4231-AS

I assume by mobile this is a dashcam (I believe this is obvious but....)? Has anyone purchased this unit? any thoughts on the dahua dashcam? a little high for a dashcam but might be worth the cost...

Yes, I just matched the same order as the lens it replaced. Be careful to remove the ends without damaging.

    Varifocal Lens Change

I recorded some low light video in the same setting (as the daytime footage) - time stamp is correct. I didn't realize I didn't capture my 'camera device' clicks when I clicked on the Camera button in SmartPSS, so the different settings in the order of the video are: 1) SmartIR (on) 2) Manual...

    Varifocal Lens Change

Huh, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you. I didn't really test it much in low light conditions - I thought I would get the same results as 5mp sensor. I'll post some footage later this evening....

    Varifocal Lens Change

I am not am expert....at all...with that said, my understanding is regardless of the distance (in low light) 5mp would be equally as bad, although perhaps someone can correct and enlighten:) And yes the lens work with IR.

Yes, either of the above would work. If you type in 'm14 lens' Yumiki is one of three but the direct link is: US $20.99 |HD 2.0megapixel auto iris 6 22mm M14 motorized CCTV lens,F1.6, ICR, Auto Zoom, Auto Focus, Auto IrisHorizontal Field 43. 16.5D-in CCTV Parts from Security & Protection on...
