ivms-4500 is discontinued. you will no longer get push notification. hik-connect is the replacement, however to get push notification you need to register and not use visitor mode

revisiting this thread to see if anyone figured a work around to this issue

yes a gig, all switches and router I do crimp my own cables, i have tested connections by using a cable tester, not sure what else to validate bad cables. yeah i think i need to run a sniffer to see whats going on.
