Yes it does.It requires a SPI FLASHER to dump the bios.You have to open the dvr and find the corresponding 8 legs IC (Micron ,Spansion ,ect) which stores the unique data of your device.. It may look complicate but is very easy to do it and nowdays the cost very cheap 7$. Anyway Goodluck.

If you could make a dump of the Bios and send it to me i could help you with resetting it . (It requres soldering skill and you need a SPI Flash Reader to do it.)
