    IP8M-DT3949EW-3AI Mounting box?

Note that their specs are not all that accurate. I have 4.88 for the PFA130-E but just measured it at 4.79. The PFA137 shows 4.8. The 3949 camera shows 4.8. Based on everything I have seen it looks like it should fit. Amcrest says it is not compatible but the camera is new and probably is not...

    Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI event setup

Changed to IVS. No perimeter or rules yet. It made a big difference during the daylight. Every file has a valid item like a car or person. However after dark moths and bugs are attracted and any one of them flying past triggers. Thanks

    Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI event setup

Can your intrusion box be the full screen? Isn't the whole purpose of Human and Vehicle SMD to only trigger on them and eliminate the false triggers? Their AI that they are so proud of appears to do nothing. Thanks

    Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI event setup

Was using MD/SMD. Just disabled it and enabled IVS in Smart Plan. Have not looked into setting up rules.

    Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI event setup

I have several IP8M-T2669EW-AI cameras. I have played with the event setup quite a bit but they sometimes trigger and record almost continuously. 20 to 30 files a day. Human and vehicle are enabled. I do want the full field covered. What is needed to make them stop triggering for every tiny...

Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI Not recording to SD card.

Yesterday after connecting to it a few times it started recording events to the SD card. I seemed to be working ok but stopped again at 9:00PM. It is just intermittent. Amcrest support said to set up a specific schedule but the other four cameras work fine without a specific schedule.

Amcrest IP8M-T2669EW-AI Not recording to SD card.

Issue: I have five of these running off the same POE switch. All are using a local SD card. SW version V2.800.00AC001.O.R All are configured the same. I just noticed today that this camera has not been recording to the SSD card. No files for the last month. Connecting via web and live work...

Low Rez when connecting to the BI service

Four cameras viewed. Both PC's are I7's with 27" monitor and video card. Seems to look great on all four with every option except remote connection to the BI service. It is usable but clearly lower quality. Also, its all on the local lan with very little traffic. Thanks

Low Rez when connecting to the BI service

I have BI installed as the only app running on an I7-3770. It looks great when viewing cameras from the attached monitor. The cameras look great when viewing with Amcrest Surveillance Pro. The cameras look great with a direct connect. When I connect to the BI web service they look much lower...

Modems with two Ethernet ports ?

There are a couple of modems available with two ethernet ports. My understanding is that ISP's provide a second IP address for a fee. Arris SB8200 and S33. This diagram looks like it protects the network from camera access. Do you consider that the primary threat? I realize that BI would need...

Modems with two Ethernet ports ?

Has anyone used a newer modem with two ethernet ports? Would this be a more secure option to put BI and your cameras on a second dedicated network? Thanks

    PC On Sale?

I have an older I7-3770 with an SSD and a 1TB drive. It would probably be fine for 5 cameras. It is in an old Corsair case that is huge and probably draws a lot more power. The idea of an appliance size PC with current hardware, windows 11 and a warranty is attractive. Normally I do not care...
