I'm out on the dahua, used 500 and new more than that. This will end up being a cheap system that works when driving. Which, ultimately is the goal so I guess it's good enough. I'd love parking protection but I don't know what the cameras would pull from the batteries solely. This system here...

Maybe something like this ran to a basic 8ch dvr. These aren't ip. But for a 360 dash cam system it should be fine.

I'm installing Empire Tech Loyrta 4mp PTZ that uses 22 watts with the IR on to a Amcrest NVR with a Max 22.5 Watts POE Per Port... This doesn't follow the general 80% rule in electrical. Should I install a power injector and not worry about burning up a poe port or am I over thinking it...

Any update a week later? Installed the 4mp doorbell cam from amcrest and when my client was signing up for the cloud option there was an issue and the support tech barely spoke English.

Any PTZ set up to with pre sets and then running a tour on those pre sets... I would suggest a ptz from Andy...

I installed a Amcrest NVR system and 4mp Doorbell camera. It's working with the amcrest home view app but when he tries to pay for a cloud account on the Doorbell it says the SN isn't long enough. Support hasn't been any help . Any info?

Nice. I'm building a coop and run now and can't wait to get some cams on it. Highly suggest just using a roller and painting the metal screen with black paint.
