There's a new international/english version of the firmware for the DH-SD59225U-HNI with a build date of 2021-02-03 The video seems smeary when panning fast (which it didn't do with the 2017 firmware that was on this cam before), but so far lots of improvements.

You misunderstood. The firmware I have now seems to limit the camera to PAL only. I would like to put a firmware on that will let me select NTSC - I don't have that option.

I have two IPC-HFW4431R-Z I got at the same time, but one only lets me select PAL and has different firmware. The NTSC/PAL selectable one is 2.420.0000.21.R but the one I can only select PAL on is 2.400.0000.23.R. Which firmware from your list should I be downloading to update the "PAL only"...

It's using the search function of the NVR on screen. Normally you can jump anywhere in the timeline by clicking on the area you want to check and it just plays. With this box, it jumps to hour markers or yellow motion markers, and you can only see the area between if you let it play. VERY annoying.
