I agree, the default settings should have ONVIF on and the web portal on. They really want you to just use their app or their NVR.

Did you get the most up to date Reolink desktop app? For me, I did this: get to settings, then Network, then Advanced, then Server Settings, then click to enable either HTTP or HTTPS, RTMP, ONVIF, etc.

I think most here are hooking the reolink up to an NVR and not using the Reolink app. Heck, I have never used the doorbell app to answer the door. I get up...and you know...go to the door to answer it. If I'm not home, I don't answer the door, like how you used to not answer the door when not home.

Yep, that did it. Settings - Windows Firewall - Advanced Settings - New Rule Allow all traffic on 32168...the TPU started popping off analyzing images instantly. Nice!

Not sure that is typically done although it may be feasible. You can probably get a BI basic PC for <$150 and then just VPN into it if you need to review footage remotely.

I am using RTSP. After I went back to firmware version v3.0.0.1859_23030902, my timeline is clean, without any drop-outs. Can't remember why I upgraded. Don't fix things when they aren't broken.
