Blue iris cpu usage when camera are triggered?

Are you using any AI? Is it an ONVIF alert or is BI doing the triggering?

Day/night mode via HTTP for E541F-E2-AS

I found this thread (attached below) about utilizing HTTP requests to trip cameras into Day/Night mode but for some reason, I cannot seem to make the code work for the Empiretech E541F (AKA Boob cam)...I'm assuming it's since it's multi-channel but cant be positive. Has anybody had any luck...

    Blue Iris on Homekit

I’m running hoobs but can’t for the life of me figure out how to display the UI3 dashboard. Tried FFMPEG but didn’t work since I guess UI3 isn’t a technical RTSP stream. Did you manage to import a group or did you import each cameras RTSP stream individually?

Dual NIC setup keeps crashing network

@mikeynags It wouldn't let me leave the gateway empty and click "ok", I had to type something in...So I entered in the same IP as the computer and it worked out. Thanks @Sybertiger, after I confirmed mine looked almost identical to your setup, I went to the router logs like @SpacemanSpiff...

    UI3 very choppy

Cant seem to figure this out- On LAN & WAN, my UI3 streams without issue (not choppy, no delays, etc) on iPhone or Mac. But when I try to view with Raspberry Pi (using LAN), it's super choppy. Even when I'm out of the network, I can VPN in with iPad/iPhone/Mac and it is very smooth... Anybody...

Viewing BlueIris cameras at secondary location within LAN

Looking for recommendations on being able to view cameras somewhere else in the house? (either a monitor, iPad, or table of sorts) Thinking maybe a Raspberry Pi with a monitor... but open to ideas. I do have a POE connection going to that location if it could be helpful...

Dual NIC setup keeps crashing network

Hi, I'm struggling to setup my new PC (Running on Win 11) for Blue Iris. I've decided to setup a Dual NIC solution but seem to have some of my settings wrong. Once I connect the NIC1 (which connects to my main router), it only takes about 30 minutes and my entire network goes down. If I...

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

Thank you for this, it shares a good way to approach it. I've drawn it all out and here is where I've landed. Internet NIC (connected to my main network is 192.168.7.150 Local/POE NIC (connected to POE switch) manually set to 10.11.12.1 (subnet set to 255.255.255.0) with DHCP for DNS Server...

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

I think I got it setup correctly, but I'm struggling to find my cameras on the network (empiretech). Do you (or anybody else who reads this) know of a way to "Test" that it was done correctly? (Blue Iris does not see anything when I try to add the camera)
